Use cases
Accept crypto payments in your online store
Accept Bitcoin, USDT and other crypto in WooCommerce, OpenCart, PrestaShop, Magento or Хорошоп: the order moves on its own when the payment is confirmed.
CryptoLike turns a crypto payment into an order status. The customer chooses the crypto payment method, pays on the payment page, and the order moves to your chosen status once the payment is confirmed: in WooCommerce, OpenCart, PrestaShop, Magento 2, Хорошоп or your own site.
Why is crypto hard to connect to store orders?
For an online store, the hard part of crypto is keeping every order status right, not the wallet. A transfer needs confirmations before it counts, and the customer may send too little, pay after the time limit or press "Pay" twice. CryptoLike covers each of these cases, so nobody on your team has to check a block explorer before shipping.
Typical cases: a partial payment because the wallet took its fee out of the amount, a late payment, an overpayment, a transfer reversed by a network reorganisation, and a double click that tries to create a second payment.
How CryptoLike connects payments to orders
CryptoLike creates one payment for each order, sends the customer to a payment page and reports every change with a signed webhook. The plugin applies that webhook to the order: a detected transfer keeps the order waiting, a confirmed payment moves it to your paid status, and money that needs a decision goes to review.
- The order is placed in the "pending payment" state, and the plugin creates a payment for the order total in the order's currency (USD, EUR, UAH, GBP or CAD, all enabled by default).
- The customer pays on the payment page: asset and network, amount, address with a QR code, time left and a live status. If the plugin leaves the coin open, the customer first picks one of the coins you offer for invoices, each with an approximate amount marked ≈; the plugin's coin list can narrow that choice, and USDT or USDC icons carry a badge of their network. The checkout widget can show the same page inside your checkout.
- The webhook arrives. The plugin verifies its signature, applies it once by
event_idand answers200only after the order status is written.
Which payment states become which order states?
Every CryptoLike plugin follows one contract, so a payment state becomes the same order state in every CMS. A lower state never replaces a higher one: a retried "payment detected" event that arrives after "paid" changes nothing. Money that needs a person goes to review, never to paid. You choose the exact CMS statuses in the plugin settings.
| Payment | Order |
|---|---|
pending |
Keeps waiting; the customer sees "Payment detected. Waiting for confirmation." |
paid |
Your paid status (Processing by default in WooCommerce and OpenCart) |
underpaid, before the deadline |
On hold; the customer tops up to the same address |
underpaid, after the deadline |
Review: ship, ask for the rest or refund |
expired |
Cancelled, or kept pending if you prefer |
| Late payment | Review; the funds are already on your balance |
Reversed after paid |
Review: do not ship |
Which platforms does CryptoLike support?
CryptoLike has plugins for four CMS platforms and a hosted connector for Хорошоп, and stores on their own code use the REST API or an SDK. Every path uses the same payment page, the same statuses and the same webhooks. The versions are the ones stated in each plugin's documentation.
| Platform | Versions | How it connects |
|---|---|---|
| WooCommerce plugin | WooCommerce 7.0+, WordPress 6.1+, PHP 7.4–8.4; block and classic checkout | Plugin |
| OpenCart extension | 3.0.x and 4.0.x | Extension |
| PrestaShop module | 8.x; 1.7.8 declared minimum | Module |
| Magento 2 module | 2.4.6+, PHP 8.1–8.4, Luma checkout | Module |
| Хорошоп connector | Plans with API access | No plugin; the payment link arrives by e-mail |
| Own site | REST API and SDKs | Your code |
How to connect your store
Connecting a CMS store to CryptoLike takes five steps and needs no developer. Test mode needs a ck_test_ key and the test API URL in the plugin settings (the default is production; ask CryptoLike support for the test URL); test keys work with test networks. The plugin refuses a key whose prefix does not match the mode, so a live store cannot take test payments by mistake.
- Download the archive from the integration page and upload it in your shop's admin panel.
- Ask CryptoLike support for access to the test environment and, in its cabinet, create a
ck_test_API key with two permissions:create_invoiceandread. - Paste the key ID and secret (in test mode, also the test API URL) into the plugin settings and press "Check connection".
- Add the plugin's webhook URL as an endpoint in the same cabinet with every
invoice.*event and paste its secret into the plugin. - Place a test order and pay it on a test network. Then repeat steps 2–4 in your own cabinet with a live key and the default API URL.

FAQ
What happens if the customer pays less than the order total?
The payment becomes underpaid and the order goes on hold. The customer sees the missing amount and can top up to the same address until the deadline. If the rest arrives in time, the order becomes paid. If not, it moves to review for your decision.
What if the customer pays after the payment expired?
CryptoLike credits the funds to your balance and sends invoice.late_payment. The plugin moves the order to review instead of paid: you decide whether to fulfil or refund.
Can a double click create two payments for one order?
No. Plugins create payments with idempotency_by_order_id, so a repeated request for the same order returns its open payment instead of a second one. A reload, a double click or "Pay for order" later opens the same payment page, and an order that has already received money never gets a new payment.
