Pricing

0.8 % per confirmed payment, with a minimum per asset.

That is the standard rate. Each asset also has a minimum fee per payment — 0.6 USDT on TRON, 2 USDT or USDC on Ethereum; the table below lists every asset. Creating a payment, an address or a key costs nothing, and a price in USD, EUR, UAH, GBP or CAD is converted into crypto with no spread. A payout costs the network fee of its transfer with no mark-up; only USDT on TRON adds a fixed 1 USDT.

Invoices and static addresses

Incoming payments: 0.8 %

  • 0.8 % of the credited amount, at least the minimum of the asset: 0.6 USDT on TRON (≈ $0.6 in BTC, LTC or TRX), 2 USDT or USDC on Ethereum (≈ $2 in ETH).
  • The minimum decides below 75 USDT on TRON and 250 USDT on Ethereum: a 30.00 USDT payment on TRON costs 0.60 USDT, a 100.00 USDT one costs 0.80 USDT.
  • Charged only when a payment is confirmed and credited. A rate change never reprices a payment that already exists.
  • You choose who bears it: you (default) or the payer — then it is included in the amount the payer sees on the checkout page.
  • A price in USD, EUR, UAH, GBP or CAD is converted at the exchange rate with no spread, rounded up to the coin's smallest unit.

Withdrawals to external addresses

Payouts: the network fee

  • No platform fee on payouts, except USDT on TRON: a fixed 1 USDT per payout.
  • The network fee of the transfer is added on top of the amount with no mark-up, so the recipient gets the full amount.
  • The estimate shows the platform fee, the reserved network fee and the total debit before you confirm.
  • Network fee: the reserved estimate by default, or the fee actually paid, with the unused reserve returned to your balance — the mode is set by the platform for your account.

Why is there a minimum fee?

Every payment that arrives at a payment address is then collected into the platform's wallet, and that collection is a network transaction whose fee the platform pays. Its cost is set by the network, not by the amount: collecting 10 USDT costs as much as collecting 10,000 USDT, and on Ethereum it costs more than on TRON, Bitcoin or Litecoin. A percentage of a small payment would not cover it, so each asset has a minimum; from 75 USDT on TRON and 250 USDT on Ethereum only the 0.8 % applies.

  • The minimum applies to each incoming transfer: a payment sent in two transfers pays it twice.
  • A transfer smaller than the minimum is kept whole as the fee: nothing is credited, and your balance never goes below zero.
  • An invoice whose fee you bear must be larger than the minimum of its asset; for a smaller one the API answers below_min. If the payer bears the fee, it is included in the amount the payer sends.
  • The minimums are fixed amounts in each coin, listed in the table above; for BTC, LTC, ETH and TRX their value in dollars moves with the price.

How much does CryptoLike charge?

The standard rate is 0.8 % of each confirmed incoming payment, at least the minimum of the asset: 0.6 USDT on TRON (about $0.6 in BTC, LTC or TRX), 2 USDT or USDC on Ethereum (about $2 in ETH). Payouts carry no platform fee, except a fixed 1 USDT for USDT on TRON; you pay the network fee with no mark-up. A price in USD or EUR is converted with no spread. Every minimum is on the pricing page.

Why is there a minimum fee?

Because collecting a payment costs about the same whatever its amount. Each payment is moved from its payment address into the platform's wallet in a network transaction whose fee the platform pays, higher on Ethereum than on TRON, Bitcoin or Litecoin. The minimum decides below 75 USDT on TRON and 250 USDT on Ethereum; above that only the 0.8 % applies. A transfer smaller than the minimum is kept whole as the fee. Exact minimums: fee schedule.

How are fees shown?

As a concrete amount with its unit: in the payout estimate before you confirm, in the API response and in the cabinet. The checkout page shows the payer one amount; when the payer bears the fee, it is already included. The CryptoLike platform fee is set per asset and charged only when a payment is confirmed; each transaction then shows the gross amount, the fee and the net amount. The current schedule is on the CryptoLike pricing page.

When is the platform fee charged?

Only when a payment is confirmed, at the rate in force when the payment was created: a tariff change never reprices an existing payment. Creating a payment costs nothing, and an expired or cancelled payment is not charged. The CryptoLike platform fee is set per asset and per direction, incoming payments and payouts. Every transaction row shows the gross amount, the fee and the net_amount. Current rates are on the pricing page.

Who pays the platform fee, the merchant or the customer?

By default the merchant: fee_paid_by is merchant, and the platform fee is deducted from what you receive. With fee_paid_by: payer on the payment, CryptoLike adds the fee on top of the amount: payer_amount is what the customer must send, amount_crypto is what you receive. The two amounts differ only in that case. See platform fee.

How is the network fee of a payout calculated?

Before a payout, POST /v1/withdrawals/estimate returns the platform fee, the reserved network fee and the total debit; the reserve is the network's estimate with no mark-up. CryptoLike charges either the reserved estimate (the default) or the fee actually paid on the network (network_fee_mode: actual), in which case the unused reserve returns to your available balance. If no estimate is available, the payout is not created. More on the network fee.
