Payment link

A web address sent to a customer that opens a hosted page with the amount, network, deposit address and live status of one payment.

How it works in CryptoLike

Every CryptoLike payment has one: checkout_url, in the form https://cryptolike.net/pay/{id}. The page shows the amount, the network, the address with a QR code, a network warning, the time left and the live status; after payment it offers your return_url. The link works until the payment's ttl_expires_at; after that the page says "Payment expired. Create a new payment."

Without a website, create a payment in the cabinet and use "Share payment link": copy the link, show its QR code, or send a ready message with the merchant name, the amount and the "valid until" time through Telegram, WhatsApp or Viber. The Telegram bot creates a payment in a short dialog and returns a card with the same link. For an expired or cancelled payment the cabinet offers "Create a new payment" instead of the share block.

On a website, the same page can open inside your checkout through the checkout widget — your server creates the payment, your page gets only its id. Scenarios and limits: payment links for business.

Example

A CryptoLike payment returns its link in the first response, together with the deadline to put in your message to the customer. One link belongs to one payment: create a new payment for each order or each request for money. The id below is illustrative:
